Our various dryer vent cleaning processes
The basic, and most common service we provide on a standard dryer vent system, for the standard price, is the brush and vacuum method. Locate the dryer and vent exhaust
Remove hardened lint from the exterior vent
Vacuum inside, under, and around the dryer
We clean out those 'hard to reach' areas of your dryer cavity that are often forgotten or unseen
Then we proceed to the lint removal process for the vent pipe with our specialized tools
When the pipe is cleared of lint and obstruction, we reattach the dryer to the vent pipe, making sure that the correct material and length are used
After everything is in place, we run the dryer to check for proper heat and airflow
Sometimes the process is more involved.
Occasionally, ductwork repair or replacement my be needed. There are extra charges for stacked machines, attic work, vent cap replacement, vent hose replacement, or any other out of the ordinary fixes or services that may need to be performed to achieve proper, safe ventilation for the clothes dryers peak operation.
High pressure jet-snake lint extraction.
For long horizontal runs, we recommend the high pressure jet-snake method. We have a high powered, van mounted, compressor that has enough PSI and CFM to blast out lint buildup in long length horizontal dryer vent systems. We usually only use this procedure when cleaning whole condo association buildings that have long horizontal vent systems (over 25'). We have a van dedicated to carrying this 500lb monster and 300ft hose reel around. Roughly 98 of 100 dryer vent cleaning stops we do, have a vertical duct system that goes through the roof, or horizontal duct system that is less than 25 feet across. So we don't usually drive the van that has this compressor system on our daily routes. The brush system works well enough to clear out any major clogs for single calls. But we will make a special trip for an additional fee if this setup is requested at any location within our service area.
