Our dryer vent cleaning process and services we offer

Here is a brief process of the basic service we provide on a standard dryer vent system for the standard price. Sometime the process is more involved or ductwork repair my be needed. There are extra charges for stacked machines, attic work, vent cap replacement, vent hose replacement, or any other out of the ordinary fixes or services that may need to be performed to achieve proper, safe ventilation for the clothes dryers peak operation.

• Locate the dryer and vent exhaust

• Remove hardened lint from the exterior vent

• Vacuum inside, under, and around the dryer

• We clean out those 'hard to reach' areas of your dryer cavity that are often forgotten or unseen

• Then we proceed to the lint removal process for the vent pipe with our specialized tools

• When the pipe is cleared of lint and obstruction, we reattach the dryer to the vent pipe, making sure that the correct material and length are used

• After everything is in place, we run the dryer to check for proper heat and airflow

• We often check your washer hoses and spigots for damage or corrosion when accessible

Additional services will carry additional fees as they are not included in the standard dryer vent service. Some of these services or repairs are as listed:

• Replace dryer vent connection hose

• Disassemble dryer to remove clogged lint from the machine

• Moving stacked washer/dryers from their current position to access the ductwork (this is a potentially dangerous process that can become a problem if not done correctly)

• Modify pipe or cut out wall for efficiency

• Attaching pipework in attic that may have come loose with age or improper installation

• Replacing or installing vent pipe

• Mobile home ductwork installation

• We also remove wasp and bird nests from dryer vent or ductwork when needed and not in use

Our main business focus is about clothes dryer vents and ductwork cleaning and repair. We offer additional services pertaining to dryer vents when needed.

Dryer vent on the roof cleanout

Many dryer vent systems exit through the roof on modern home models because the laundry room isn't on an outside backed wall of the building. We are experienced roof walkers, we do this on a daily basis. So you don't need to worry about damaged tiles, or someone falling off your roof. We are licensed and insured for this type of work. Dryer wall vent replacement covers

We have replacement dryer vent covers that outlast the old aluminum or vinyl types. They also deter birds from making nests in the ductwork.

Dryer cavity cleaning

Older dryers accumulate lint buildup inside of the machine itself. We offer inside dryer cleaning service for older dryers that are no longer in warranty. Certain models have shown to accumulate more lint inside the machine than others. Most of it is due to dryer manufacturing errors and/or running the dryer while hooked up to a clogged dryer vent. If the lint cant go out through the vent, it will leak out in other areas inside of the machine.

Dryer vent hose replacement and connection clamps

We carry replacement dryer connection hose that is UL 2158A listed and marked for safe dryer venting. We also carry hard pipe, but the dryer usually isn't lined up with the duct opening in the wall. So the hard pipe won't fit properly. Thus not leaving enough room in the front of the dryer to close a laundry room door or walk by without hitting the dryer when passing though the area.

Dryer vent duct repair in attic and walls

Sometimes old or poorly installed ductwork has to be repaired or replaced. We carry new pipes and elbows in our vans in case the situation arises that you need a dryer vent pipe repair or replacement. If we have time, we can do it on the spot. If it's more involved or were tight on time, we'll have to reschedule the additional service for another day.
