I've tried out several different D.I.Y. kits that are available for purchase on the internet. The LintEater Dryer Vent Cleaning Kit is the best one that I've found for occasional residential use. Other brands rods are very cheap quality and get twisted very easily. The brush heads are better quality in the LintEater set as well.
